Established in 1968, Paleo-Data® is an employee-owned, centralized, full-service micropaleontological consulting firm specializing in Onshore Gulf Coast and Offshore Gulf of Mexico biostratigraphic services. Over 13,000 Offshore and 4,900 Onshore wells have been examined in-house utilizing a consistent biostratigraphic framework for optimum uniformity and accuracy in stratigraphic correlation. Well reports are available individually, or as packages in a variety of formats for integration into a fully comprehensive geologic database.
Along with the most extensive expertise in the Gulf Coast USA, Paleo-Data has performed biostratigraphic analyses across the globe, including Mozambique, Egypt, Colombia, Australia and France (see map below).
Paleo-Data’s staff includes thirteen biostratigraphers specializing in benthic/planktonic foraminifera and calcareous nannofossils from Jurassic through Quaternary ages, and a full-time support staff of lab and clerical personnel.
