“Currently, digitization is a hot topic. We’re making old data new again just by digitizing it, and making it more accessible through the cloud or online data portals. We are consulting with operators in their (virtual) offices on grading and (de)risking their prospects as they integrate with other data. We are finding ways for our staff to be in multiple places at once with digital microscopy and photography. We are finding new ways to illustrate and analyze our data through mapping and index algorithms.
We are also partnering with other service providers like mud loggers and geochemists to provide integrated products. One that I’m particularly excited about is partnering with geochemists and running x-ray fluorescence and stable isotope stratigraphy to provide a highly resolved stratigraphy. These efforts are based on clients’ feedback and experience to make their workflows simpler and more efficient.”
